6 Must-Visit Cities Using Your ClassPass Membership This Year

With ClassPass, you always have an excuse to travel. From anywhere in the United States to Great Britain, Canada and even Australia, there are plenty of opportunities to stretch your legs – so to speak – and discover new classes and fitness trends around the world. As you start looking at the year ahead and snag those vacation days, consider visiting these cities where you can use ClassPass while you’re on the go.

While we love all of our cities, here are ClassPass destinations you should visit this year (and class recommendations for when you’re on the ground!):

San Francisco

Trekking up and down all those hills pays off, even if you’re just visiting. Check out unique classes, from paddle boarding to outdoor yoga and dine on local fare, like fresh produce from the city’s many farmers’ markets. It’s no surprise 26 percent of residents eat their 5+ servings of fruits and veggies per day with so many year-round selections.

It turns out the Mile High city, is also high on the list for healthy activities. Between classes, check out Denver’s array of outdoor recreation options, such as mountain biking, hiking, golfing, tennis class and of course skiing in the winter.

Location is everything in Sydney and the waterfront provides an array of fitness activities from snorkeling to jogging on the beach. Another fun perk of visiting Sydney? All of the ferries! They actually have as many ferry commuters – 11,000 – as they do motorbike commuters.

One of the first cities to add bike trails and ban public smoking, Minneapolis and its sister city St. Paul are both great places to get your fitness on. Despite the chilly winters, there are tons of public parks, and not to mention some unique class find, such as taking yoga with your dog. It was also ranked #1 on Forbes’ Top 20 Healthiest Cities list.

Beantown is known for many things, its rich history of course and it turns out, health. 77 percent of Bostonians say they prefer to cook at home, which goes hand in hand with leading a healthy lifestyle. Try a parkour class, or follow the Freedom Trail and you won’t even realize you’re working out.

New York

The very first ClassPass city, NYC is still one of the best places for a fitness fix. With a wealth of boutique fitness options – you can access hundreds of them via your ClassPass membership – dabble in underwater cycling and trampoline cardio in the same afternoon. It’s also no secret that NYC offers tons of outdoor spaces and riverfront paths.
