This class was great. You could take up or down a notch depending on your energy. Although there was a lot going on in the class it wasn’t chaotic. So it’s a good class for beginners even though it was a demanding class. Angela is very available to assist and really paid attention to what the people in the class were doing.

    CHI REVIVAL

It was a really good class. Im very new to fitness and a bit out of shape so some of the moves were really challenging for me- I had to take a few breaks to catch my breath especially with all those planks. But overall I wouldn’t say I was intimidated. I managed to do all the moves (but with some self-imposed breaks as mentioned) and it burned but the pace was just good enough that I never felt like it was too, too much. I’m also not the type of person who meditates so I thought that part would be weird but- and I say this will all honesty- I was AMAZED at how I felt almost emotional at the end. I don’t know why, maybe it’s because after that workout I felt more connected to my body than ever, but when Rachelle said ‘thank your body, thank your sweat’ I really felt it. Overall great class, a good balance of many things, didn’t feel too short or too long, and I left feeling great.

I really wish this studio wasn’t closing but alas. Beautiful class in a cozy room and the instructor Liz was super informative and calming and helpful with explaining the poses/flow.. I needed a slower paced class and this delivered the healing that I was looking for. The lights were off for our Savasanah and it was lovely being with others in the darkness in our most relaxed state at the end of a class like that. Thank you! 🙏🙏

Love his sessions always. He’s a unique instructor, with the knowledge of the body that’s better than most. He also instructs clearly how to breathe with every movement. He encourages us to take risks and make mistakes in our practice to progress as students. His motivational words also help us get through every difficult breath. I almost gave up in one of my poses but because of what he said, I kept on in my pose and overcame the difficulty. Not every instructor can give us that motivation!

Every time I go to this studio it does feel a little cramped as so many people are fit into the room, but it is clearly this way because so many people love these classes. The instructors are extremely clear with their instructions so that you can follow along just by listening to them and don’t need to see the movements to follow along. Makes it easier to focus on just your own body and breathing and almost forget about the many people around you. Very comfortable and inclusive space.

I keep going back to this studio hoping for a more advanced class, and I keep walking out disappointed and frustrated that I wasted credits. After being told which classes were more advanced and waiting for an open spot , i found this to be a pretty basic class , maybe 2 ‘advanced’ moves in the session. . It’s too bad because it’s the only Pilates studio near me, the studio is gorgeous and the equipment is great. The studio says the advanced classes fill up quick, so maybe offer more ? At least change the rating to be more reflective of the levels they actually are.
