    REFORMER REBEL

    It is a bit different to your traditional reformer Pilates class. It’s half Pilates and half weighted exercises on a mat. I enjoyed the class as it was nice to change things up and I felt like I got a good workout in. The instructor is friendly and does come around to check on your form and make adjustments as necessary. However, if you are a beginner or new to exercise in general, you may find this class challenging due to the pace and strength required to do some exercises (however I’m sure if you communicate this to the instructor at the onset of class some modifications can be suggested) it’s just something to keep in mind.

    Viv was a fantastic and easy to understand instructor. The exercises she taught were so well thought out and it definitely felt like a total body workout. I also liked how she corrected my form when necessary and explained where in the body the exercise was meant to target; so that I could ensure I was feeling the burn in the right areas.
