It was a super challenging class without all the fluffy yoga talk, which I absolutely loved. I have taken nearly every instructor class at urban and keri is by far my favorite. However , there was A LOT of people in this class which I personally did not like but there was still plenty of room and I understand that it was probably because of the time of day(7:30pm) and the location of this studio. As for the class itself it’s very beginner friendly and perfect if you want to incorporate some low impact movement into your day to just relax and unwind.

I have a particular injury and she was so good about explaining the benefits of what we were doing and the why behind it. I was very impressed with her ability to understand each individual’s needs. I would highly recommend her classes and can’t wait to go again.

see all reviewsUnexpected, in a good way. Thought it would be more of a typical “follow along” format, but this was very educational. I liked how Katrina used the tv and walked around with a book showing diagrams of the various pressure points, explaining their purposes. She provided guidance and came to help everyone make adjustments, but also let us move in our own ways to ensure we were getting what we needed. This was not a “relaxing” class for me, but more like “deep tissue” sports recovery where it’s almost painful working the pressure points, but I felt 10x better after. I haven’t seen other classes like this and think it’s a great offering.
