    It’s been awhile since I’ve gotten this much helpful instruction in a class and it was amazing! Robert took the time to make his way around the class to each person, help them on their form, say their name, and make them feel welcomed! I’ve been attending this class for some time and that never happens. It was such a breath of fresh air and I’m hoping a new instructor switch is coming because it is necessary. Robert is fantastic and if you haven’t taken his class yet, get to booking it right away!

    A fun but still challenging class. I was feeling pretty weak coming in from recovering, but all the moves were easy to get going and get comfortable with the movement. I love the layout here and Katie was very helpful. All the stations were very clear exercises were informative and had great energy at 5 am. The gym is big and sleek. Everyone was also friendly and welcoming with high-fives. I was drenched at the end and Katie took some time to walk with me through the space and talk more which is appreciated.

    I did vaguely think I was going to die then reminded myself that I probably wouldn’t. Also time dilation on the stairmaster is real. I thought for sure it had been over 10 minutes and I looked down and saw it ticking up from 3:20 to 3:21 in disbelief. This was my first class and Glutecamp was nice because I didn’t have to worry about weights since you use resistance bands, stretchy cables, and body weight. The non-stairmaster stuff was pretty familiar to me: squats, bridges, fire hydrants, etc. Nothing too crazy. It’s pretty fast-paced but I didn’t feel myself falling behind. The instructor was encouraging and showed the new people how to use stuff before class so it didn’t feel confusing. On the stairmaster side I had to adjust down some levels because I kept glancing at my heart rate and being like…I need to slow down. Definitely a good workout!

    This was the best class I’ve taken at Asteya and the best class I’ve taken this year. You took me out of my head and into my body. It challenged me in a way that I couldn’t anticipate what pose would be next when you first laid out the sequence. I felt my nervous system completely reset. Thank you so much. I work full time and was only able to come today because I was off and I’m so happy I came! Thank you thank you 🙏🏼 A side note would be, I know the chatter at the beginning of class can be distracting but so can the yoga sculpt music during savasana . Idk if there’s a way to sound proof that wall or something but as I was winding down I found myself ALSO wanting to do the tootsie roll with Kristin and her class… TO THE LEFT TO THE LEFT.     I’m visiting from Korea so I was quite nervous because it was my first class, but Lucy was super informative and encouraging. These moves were KILLER. Although my exercise experience consists of going to the fridge and back, the class was easy to understand. Understanding was easy, doing the task was challenging to say the least. You can really feel your muscles engaging and i swear my body was shaking the entire time. It’s about an hour after class ended and i can still feel myself shaking. Loved the class, and hoping to attend another in the future.

    Shira was DEF hands down the best instructor that I’ve had at TM between Glendale and studio city. She was personable, had personality, music was great also you can tell she walks the walk! She’s a knowledgeable trainer and highly skilled. She’s not only “textbook knowledgeable” she knows how to lead a room full of adults with confidence and clarity. I will def be going back to her! The only thing about TM is that I wish it had more diversity — it’s so weird, obviously seems like they want to attract one type of client which is not a good look. Even their IG reflects the lack of diversity and inclusion. You guys have full power and control over that —- do something about it. It does matter and it goes a long way.
