    INFERNO HOT PILATES

Limar was a wonderful instructor! It was my first time and they explained where things were, included new participants in class and kept the energy high when the burn hits! The one downside is the changing room is way too small for the amount of people in the class.

    YOGA X STRENGTH 45

The heat was super gentle and the beginning yoga portion was a really manageable flow and a great warm up. The medium weights were enough to require decent effort to make it through without being overly fatiguing in exercises like curls, halos, squat thrusters, and sumo squats. Overall really good class, fabulous instructor, and a gorgeous studio with everything you could need. Only feedback was the music seemed crazy loud for shavasana but was totally fine otherwise - would recommend this to everyone.

Kara is an awesome instructor! She does a great job. I think the studio is kept much too cold for a barre class. It should be at least 70. It was set at 64. Barre isn’t a sweaty workout and the class was very easy, so I was freezing the entire time in socks and a sweatshirt and had muscle spasms due to the cold.

Going there on a Sunday afternoon was definitely the best idea, as the facilities were way less busy than during evenings on week-days. Loved the place, had a great workout and enjoyed the steam room and sauna afterwards (although the sauna wasn’t really hot enough to be effective, but that’s a detail). Will definitely come back with Class pass!

Naima was the best! Loved her gentle but direct style of hands on adjustments. Would take her class again. Also people should be mindful of wiping up their sweat at the end of class, it’s gross stepping in puddles in your bare feet.

Courtney is the best! She was the first instructor I had when I went to handle bar and she inspires me everytime I take her class! Her classes empowered me through the end of nursing school and I couldn’t be more thankful. She always mentions how important it is that we appreciate our bodies and the fact that we can move them! I’m a rehab nurse and those words stay with me through every workout. Thank you Courtney! See you at North Station!

    Power Flow Yoga

I loved this class and instructor! I’m not sure I would call this class “cardio” but it was overall just a great yoga class with an engaging flow. I’ve found yoga flow classes at exhale to be a bit slow and beginner, but this class was great for yogis with some experience. Cassandra brought such a great energy to the class. I was sweaty, relaxed, and engaged!

I thought a 75 min yoga class would seem too long but it was a perfect duration. we were able to cover a wide range of poses and stretches. didn't feel rushed on the stretches which was good and some extra time in shivasana which was also nice. the space was spacious and instructor gave clear instructions with modifications and alternatives.

Alex leads a great class with an indie soft pop playlist which I love. He encourages us to make our own choices and go at our pace. I don’t feel pressured like I’m doing things wrong, more like I can just do my best. He does offer clips to put on your mat to indicate consent for adjustments; this was very thoughtful as I was able to opt out.
