Mat & Spin
see all reviewsAlexa is amazing!! Such a great instructor. I think the only thing Grit is missing is energy in the room for spin classes. I think it could be enhanced with better music for spin. Less pop overplayed songs and more fun upbeat electronic music. For example, other studios do theme rides with music from John Summit, Rufus, Dom Dolla, Fred Again, Odesza, Zhu, Sofi Tucker, etc. Would love to see more music like that for spin at Grit!

see all reviewsTodd had great energy and kept the class motivating and fun! It was a fast paced and challenging workout, but Todd did an excellent job calling out modifications so everyone could choose what’s right for them. There were a lot of people in the class, but the mats were laid out with enough space to flow through the exercises comfortably. They had a special setup with the equipment laid out for me since it was my first time - appreciate the thoughtfulness of this and it made me feel very welcomed to the studio :) The studio space is large, clean, and well equipped. Music was upbeat and engaging - I could still easily hear Todd’s instruction through the mic. You can really tell Todd is passionate about teaching and this studio seems to run like a well oiled machine! Overall a great experience and I will definitely be back for another class

see all reviewsLauren is an excellent instructor she keeps you motivated and doesn’t let you weenie out.. but if you really do weenie out and aren’t able to hang like I did at the very end she also does not point it out either. Really good work out for 45 minutes and I felt like I was working out for 90. Looking forward to her next class

see all reviewsTrufusion is my absolute favorite studio in Austin. It is truly an incredible community to be apart of. Everyone is so friendly and you can tell the instructors really care. I always appreciate their attention to detail. They keep a close eye on you throughout class to ensure you are using proper form and have really mastered concise explanations & demonstrations so there is no confusion. It is especially helpful for those who are new to these types of workouts (ie barre, weightlifting, & using new equipment like TRX, SkiErg, kettlebells). I love the positivity and mindfulness that is intentionally sprinkled through their classes, not to mention the lights and upbeat music make it such a fun atmosphere

see all reviewsI am so glad I found this space! Lindsey’s postnatal class was very welcoming and inclusive. I wasn’t sure what to expect with bringing my baby, but it’s nice to find a space where everything was accepted. My little one cried and I was able to tend to her, and I still got to practice movement. So grateful this studio exists and I found it during my postpartum phase!

see all reviewsVery unlike any other movement classes I've done before, almost like a moving meditation. Lots of small, repetitive movements with a focus on tuning into noticing sensations in your body. Tbh I found the class pretty boring but I did notice a huge improvement in my knee pain the day after class, so overall had a positive experience!
