see all reviewsI love this class, but the instructor this time said midway through the class “it’s not rocket science people, follow the person in front of you…” This is a class where you want everyone comfortable with asking questions on how to do something, otherwise people could hurt themselves. You don’t want someone too embarrassed to ask questions. All it takes is one person not understanding how to do one exercise and it can throw lots of people off.

I love the layout here and Katie was very helpful. All the stations were very clear exercises were informative and had great energy at 5 am. The gym is big and sleek. Everyone was also friendly and welcoming with high-fives. I was drenched at the end and Katie took some time to walk with me through the space and talk more which is appreciated.

I also don’t usually come to the PB location and was unaware that there is street sweeping in the morning on the yoga box side on Tuesday’s. Brenda was kind enough to let me move my car and I really appreciate her waiting so I wouldn’t miss the class.

What stands up is, there are never “pause-stop-restart” or static moments during the entire flow: the connection between each posture is a truly continuous vinyasa. Regarding the challenge level, I could tell that it is more like a junior “Yoga Hot/Power” or a senior “Slow Flow”. But that is exactly what my husband and I love it the most: not to easy or too hard, a perfect combo of breathing, stretching and the room for self-challenge:)

see all reviewsI am rehabilitating a sports injury, I really like the Academy as opposed to the other places I’ve tried because the challenge comes more from the movements being a little more sophisticated, not so much being pushed by the instructor, like a spin class. It’s good for rehab because although complex, everything is based on things I’ve done before so it’s easy to modify the workouts when my ankle isn’t ready for something yet. Lastly, huge free parking lot!
