    I love this class, but the instructor this time said midway through the class “it’s not rocket science people, follow the person in front of you…” This is a class where you want everyone comfortable with asking questions on how to do something, otherwise people could hurt themselves. You don’t want someone too embarrassed to ask questions. All it takes is one person not understanding how to do one exercise and it can throw lots of people off.

    A fun but still challenging class. I was feeling pretty weak coming in from recovering, but all the moves were easy to get going and get comfortable with the movement. I love the layout here and Katie was very helpful. All the stations were very clear exercises were informative and had great energy at 5 am. The gym is big and sleek. Everyone was also friendly and welcoming with high-fives. I was drenched at the end and Katie took some time to walk with me through the space and talk more which is appreciated.

    This was my first time at Barry’s. I’ve always been intimidated with HIIT classes but Alex and the Barry’s staff made it SO comfortable for me.     Job is amazing. He always designs a different focus point for each class. What stands up is, there are never “pause-stop-restart” or static moments during the entire flow: the connection between each posture is a truly continuous vinyasa. Regarding the challenge level, I could tell that it is more like a junior “Yoga Hot/Power” or a senior “Slow Flow”. But that is exactly what my husband and I love it the most: not to easy or too hard, a perfect combo of breathing, stretching and the room for self-challenge:)
